This one day workshop will introduce you to the possibilities of casting glass in the kiln. You will learn how to make moulds for glass casting to create all kinds of forms such as sculptures, figurative and vessels. A really fun and hands on introduction to making glass sculpture. Expect to make one large sculpture and some smaller models.
Facilitator: Kim Birchall

Kim is also passionate about sharing her skills and introducing other people to glass and ceramics. She runs regular courses from her Somerset workshop, is a visiting lecturer at universities and runs specialist master classes at other venues.
