This workshop will offer an experiential introduction to some of the ‘why’s’ and ‘how’s’ of Mindfulness. We will introduce a set of powerful practices that can be incorporated in daily life and help to break cycles of anxiety, unhelpful habits and stress while promoting fourfold health: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
The workshop is suitable for those new to Mindfulness as well as those already starting to practice.
Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to, and seeing clearly whatever is happening in our lives. It will not eliminate life’s pressures, but it can help us to come into a different relationship with them. It can help us recognise and step away from habitual, often unconscious emotional and physiological reactions to everyday events. it provides us with a scientifically researched approach to cultivating clarity, insight, and understanding. Practicing mindfulness allows us to be fully present in our life and work, and improve our quality of life.
The workshop will be led by Justine Corrie and Ella Risi. www.relationalmindfulness.co.uk/workshops–courses.html email: justine@justinecorrie.com
