This year we are organising a Halloween Window Wanderland as a Covid-safe alternative to trick or treating and to give everyone a good excuse to get spooky and decorate their window, house or front garden. You can still dress up and go for a wander around your local area after dark and see the windows that your neighbours have created!
The darker days and early nights are on their way so why not join us in creating a trail of lights this Autumn. Create a scene in your window to mark the festivals of Halloween, Day of the Dead, Divali, Fireworks, or simply the changing season with a colourful display to brighten the streets of Frome.
Please stay in small groups of no more than six when wandering and follow government guidelines regarding social distancing.
Fancy taking part?
Taking part as a Windowmaker is FREE and everyone’s welcome. You can make a display in the windows of your flat, house, business, school, nursery, car, campervan, shop – or in your front garden!
Please don’t feel intimidated. Your display could be as simple as a candle, book or fairy-lights in a window. Or you could go all out and stage a performance in your front room! Anything goes… as long as it’s family friendly!
Visit the Window Wanderland website for more details and to register.
