Oakfield Choir present Handel’s Messiah

The Oakfield Choir (Frome) has for a number of years enjoyed a reputation for producing a high standard of music from the classical choral repertoire.

For this concert they have taken the bold decision to move into the Memorial Theatre and will be joined by singers from the Bath Cantata Group and Beckington Choir to sing the most popular of oratorios, Messiah by Handel.

The choir, about 90 singers, will be joined by four professional soloists:- Nerissa Faulkner (soprano), Marie Elliott (alto), Andrew Dickinson (tenor) and Craig Bissex (bass), together with a period orchestra all under the direction of Neil Moore.
