Update – 2nd November
Unfortunately, this walk is cancelled – Frome’s Walking Festival was due to take place on the weekend of Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th November, but due to national lockdown restrictions this is unable to take place.
If you have booked a ticket already we will be in touch, the walks may be rescheduled by the walk leader at a later date.
During lockdown you are able to go out and enjoy the outdoors either with your household or with one other person. So you don’t need to wait to explore in and around our beautiful town you can download one of our walks from the town walks page.
Part of Frome’s Walking Festival.

Follow in his footsteps on this walk that will show you the traces of our Saxon ancestors still visible in the modern town as well as tell you the tales of the Wessex kings that lived, fought and died here.
Led by local historian and storyteller Lisa Kenwright, the walk is approximately 1 mile.
Book your ticket here.
All walks are limited to a max. of 6 (5 participants and 1 walk leader) to adhere to the Government covid guidelines.
