Friends of the River Frome presents – Rivercide (film screening and discussion)

In November, Friends of the River Frome and Frome Town Council presented a screening of Rivercide – the world’s first live investigative documentary that examines the shocking state of UK rivers.

The ground-breaking film is presented by environmental activist and journalist George Monbiot and features live music from Charlotte Church. It asks urgent questions about our waterways and investigates how they’ve turned from beautiful ecosystems into sewers. Rivercide director Franny Armstrong kindly agreed to introduce the new version of the film.

After the screening there was an open discussion between Friends of the River Frome, special guests and the audience.
