One Day to make a Difference

We can’t change the wintry weather for the 6,000+ people stuck in the cold, muddy ‘jungle’ in Calais, but sometimes it’s small things that make a big difference.

You Can Help!

The majority of Calais refugees are men who need: warm, clean hats, scarves and gloves plus new socks and new underpants – s/m size

That’s all.  Nothing else please (because we’re still looking for storage space)  Tell your friends and bring donations to the Silk Mill between 10.30 and 2 to make Saturday 3oth January the day you make a difference!

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cakes galore, delicious soups, amazing stalls, prize raffle, bargain books, face painting.
