New Discover Frome Map & Guide

The much anticipated new Discover Frome Map & Guide has now arrived. Published by Cityscape Maps and funded by Frome Town Council and Mendip Tourism, its purpose is to complement the information available on this website. The Map & Guide are a useful resource for visitors when they arrive in the town.  Initially, the Map & Guide will be available at the Frome Information Centre at the price of £1.

Shortly, large scale maps and dispensers in handy locations will enable visitors to obtain this information at times when the Information Centre is closed, for example overnight and on Sundays.  Plans are underway to locate these maps to all the key arrival points for visitors to the town.

The new map has been beautifully illustrated, and provides a ‘3 D’ view of the buildings and other features of the town, as though you’re looking at Frome from the air. The guide reflects Frome’s identity as a special place for the arts and events, its range of independent shopping and markets as well as some of the history and heritage of the town.  The map also directs visitors to basic facilities such as cashpoints, toilets (including the location of all the community toilets provided by local businesses), car parks, taxi ranks and bus stops.
