Qiclubs – the art of perpetual motion. Build your qi, spiral in spontaneous movement under the stars. Build joint energy and muscle tone.
We create wonderful shapes and patterns, increase strength and coordination, and promote the movement of qi energy (pronounced ‘chee’) around our bodies by swinging wooden clubs with our arms. It is a very invigorating practise that can bring our natural energy and power to the surface as well as build energy, strength and muscle tone.
Beginners are most welcome(many there will be beginners). There will also be some qigong taught – we do not expect anyone to swing clubs for the entire class! Tea will be shared together during a short break in the class as well.

WHAT TO BRING:
Please wear loose comfortable clothing as you would for an exercise class and a drink to stay hydrated as you need to. OPTIONAL: Yoga mat, cushion and blanket to use during relaxation elements of class. You can also just sit on the floor for the relaxation without any of these.
