Growing Microgreens with Steve from White Horse Microgreens
Growing from seed is not only fun, satisfying and an easy way to cut down on your food miles, but also allows you to use plants in new and surprising ways.
We’ll be treated to a beginners guide to Microgreens from local expert Steve frome White Horse Microgreens.
We’ll also chat about ways that you can save and store seed for this and other uses as well as introducing you to a great project that has recently sprung up here in Frome, Frome Seed Library.
Make:Shed is a weekly creative workshop space for young adults aged 18-35(ish) from Frome and the surrounding area. See all upcoming sessions here or follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.
You can book a ticket via eventbrite, or alternatively contact us via FB messenger or on 07434 667 373.
This is a tutor-led MAKE: Shed session, funded by Somerset Skills and Learning. It is free for Somerset residents – we’ll just need you to complete a few forms for our funders.
