Made at Nest

Valentine’s Lamp Lighting ceremony
For those new to Frome or visiting for Valentine’s Day, this is a must see!  Frome’s Valentine’s lamp, situated at the top of Catherine Hill, is the only working gas lamp in Somerset. Dedicated to the memory of Saint Valentine it also has a renovated King George V post box attached for you to post your love letter or card.  At 6pm (prompt!)  the lamp lighter, dressed in period costume, will start the ceremony.

Enjoy a taste of Spain with Lo Rapitenc’s special Valentine’s set menu. The delicious food will be complimented with live music from guitarist Jon Pickard.

Bell Inn at Buckland Dinham
The recently reopened Bell Inn at Buckland Dinham will be giving a free glass of prosecco on arrival to those dining with them.  And if babysitting is an issue, kids are welcome with a child’s menu available.
