Navigating thoughts and emotions around climate is complex; our responses are all different and all valid. We might feel as we’ve done all we can to understand what the future holds, we might not know where to start.
Wherever you are in your journey, having a space to openly and safely express yourself can be clarifying and reassuring. As part of Frome’s Great Big Green Week, we’re offering this ‘Climate Cafe’ to anyone who’d like to acknowledge their own relationship with climate change, and support others to do the same.
The format is very simple and informal, we’ll gather and say hello, and share a couple of ideas that will prompt some discussion and let the conversation unfold naturally.
This space is less about creating ‘action’ (although that’s very important too) – and more about sharing in community and making our thoughts heard. You might leave having gained a different perspective, with new connections in the area, or perhaps even feeling a little lighter.
Everyone is very welcome, there will be tea and snacks.
Join us at the Good Heart Cafe, on Tuesday 13th June from 7.30pm, we’ll be wrapped up by 9.30pm at the latest.
The conversation will be facilitated by Katy Kent, who works with people to navigate uncertainty and change.
