Tea, Tales & Tranquility: A Taste of Japan

Frome’s very own Tea Ceremony. Take time out of your busy lives to enjoy this traditional custom.

We will learn about this ancient tradition, savour tea and sweets, enjoy both silence and conversation, and hear beautiful folktales from all over the country.

Momoko Iwagami lives in Frome, is a Tea Ceremony Master and runs workshops about Japanese culture.

Nicola Grove is a storyteller and lecturer who has visited Japan many times to collect legends, particularly relating to disability and marginalisation.
