Creative Lantern Masterclass

Get specialist tuition from Mel and Aliss, learn advanced techniques and skills to create a stunning lantern.

This enjoyable workshop is for those with some lantern or making confidence who want to learn how to make something just a bit more special. We will be creating very beautiful crystal forms which are irresistible to make!

Using Somerset grown withies, specialist lantern paper and glue. 

Aliss and Mel have many years of experience, teaching lantern making and running parades. They will be sharing their knowledge and helping with your queries in a supportive environment.

The session is open to non-Frome residents too, though you’re all invited to carry your lanterns in Frome’s spectacular ‘Ice’ themed parade on November 24th!
