Martin Simpson is widely recognised as one of the world’s finest acoustic and slide guitar players.  He has received more nominations than any other in the history of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards, with nine consecutive years as nominee of Musician of the Year.  He has also been nominated in four categories for the 2014 Awards of the Royal Albert Hall.  Expect a smattering of songs from his critically acclaimed new album Vagrant Stanzas alongside a multitude of other great crowd pleasers!  Pre show supper available for this performance, please see www.merlintheatre.co.uk for further details.
