Pick & Mix

The multi-award-winning New Old Friends present a little bit of everything: hilarious comedy, great music, stunning magic, breath-taking dance, and anything else that entertains. Pick & Mix is an exciting new variety night all tied together around an (optional) audience-led gameshow/quiz with real prizes!

Imagine a classic Saturday night in front of the TV watching top acts perform with games hosted by Brucey. Swap the long-chinned legend for the long-legged Fearg and replace staring silently at your TV while second screening your phone for being part of a lively and excited Merlin audience taking in a glorious evening of pure entertainment, and you’ve arrived at Pick & Mix.

This test event will feature:
Tri.Art Dance – A selection of performances from Frome’s most talented young dancers taken from Tri.Art’s recent Easter show.
Paul Hilleard – BBC New Comedian of the Year 2024 fresh from his set on the Comic Relief broadcast.
Rodney Branigan – one of Michael Eavis’ favourite acts and Glasto-Extravaganza headliner (plus ‘normal’ Glastonbury Festival regular) with his seen-to-be-believed solitary ensemble.
The whole evening will be tied together with an interactive gameshow/quiz including genuine prizes for audience members to win. But don’t worry if you’d rather not take part: that element is purely optional, entertainment is not.
