Batcombe Vale Campsite

Please note: 2024 is a fallow year for Batcombe Vale campsite. They are welcoming guests back to the site in 2025.

Located near Bruton, this little gem of a campsite has become extremely popular with guests returning year after year. It’s friendly, quiet and relaxed.

Set in its own beautiful private vale and surrounded by stunning scenery there are woods, fields and glades to explore. A playing field and boating lake with colourful rowing boats provide hours of free fun for everyone. Dogs are also welcome. There are numerous walks directly from the campsite, including one to the local pub! You can hire fire bowls with kiln dried wood and kindling onsite and watch the stars in all their glory, as there’s no light interference…

The 30 landscaped and level grass pitches are adjacent a hard roadway with parking available next to each pitch. There’s a recently rebuilt and clean toilet/shower block with separate ladies/gents and free hot showers and fresh drinking water. There is also washing-up sinks, a freezer for freezer blocks, drainage and rubbish points, a chemical toilet point, electric hook-ups and local tourist information.
