Cley Hill

Cley Hill is a distinctive landmark that is rich in wildlife and archaeology, with a tremendous panorama. It was once part of the Longleat Estate but was then entrusted to them by the 6th Marquess of Bath.

The hill offers extensive views of West Wiltshire and Somerset, as well as uninterrupted views of the sky. It is also a locally famous UFO hotspot.

It was formed by ancient seas and it has been shaped by man since its prehistoric role of guarding territorial boundaries.
