Lynn Baxter

An abstract painter and sculptor, Lynn sometimes explores the interface between two and three-dimensions.  Sculptures may be conceived as drawings in air and paintings may examine visual ways to bend the picture plane.  Her wide range of interests include the maritime, the industrial, the rural, the old crafts, found materials.

She holds a 1st class BA Hons in Fine Art, is winner of a sculpture prize, has a public art commission and has enjoyed arts residencies at Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Cromarty.

A Resident Artist at both The Woolverton Gallery and The Frome Gallery, she will open her studio for Frome Open Art Trail (Great Elm: Arthaus) 2022, and Freshford.
