Makers’ Yard

Maker's Yard building, FromeMakers’ Yard is an artist-run project space, hosed in a converted Victorian tannery in Frome, Somerset, containing creative studios, an event space and a community yard.

The building is home to a diverse community of creatives working across a variety of disciplines including visual art, film direction, ceramics, model-making, carpentry, jewellery design, motion graphics, set design, writing, architecture and photography. The concept is to create a space that is much more than just a place of work but an environment that encourages new ideas, new conversations and new connections.

Accessibility

The Makers’ Yard does not yet have ramp access, although the staff will be happy to assist wheelchair users enter the building. There is a disabled toilet available.
