RISE
RISE is a unique and majestic listed building, much loved by residents. It is on the edge of the town centre, but occupies a tranquil spot among the narrow old streets to the south of Cork Street.
With hired spaces for yoga and exercise classes, a beautiful gallery space for art, and a spacious family-friendly cafe, RISE is a unique community hub for the town, combining the creative, social and educational in a uniquely Frome way. It is an accessible and approachable space where individuals, families and groups feel that they belong; learning, playing and working alongside each other.
The Rye Bakery, a cafe and bakery with excellent food and drink and a play area, is located within RISE.
RISE is part of the You’re Welcome scheme. This means that you are welcome to use their loos and refill your water bottle at this venue without needing to buy further offerings.
Accessibility
RISE has wheelchair access via a ramp and has a disabled toilet, making the ground floor (including the Rye Bakery and the Old School Room) fully accessible. Unfortunately there is currently no disabled access to the first floor Whittox Gallery and Sun Room.
