Seriously Playful – Clowning Workshops

‘Seriously Playful’ is a clowning and improvisation workshop established in London, and now relocated and hosted by the Merlin Theatre, Frome.
You don’t have to be funny or clever or a performer to take part.

This workshop takes you through a process developed by Marina Sossi that is suitable for all people, particularly those who are more sensitive. This begins with releasing tension in the body, moving and vocalising and slowly returning yourself to a more natural state of play, creative expression and freedom. We challenge the restrictive adult states we have learnt and been conditioned by and rediscover the wonder and awe of our lived experience and the power of authentic connection.
