Raving Rascals: 11th February
It’s half term, meaning it’s time for the whole family to get together for another Raving Rascals. Expect DnB, House and Garage bangers from 4pm – 7pm. Taking place at the fabulous Rook Lane Chapel, there will be a bar available with soft drinks and snacks throughout the event. The fantastic Glitter Temple will be back to help you look the part with some glam too!

“LOVE” themed Musical Theatre workshop: 12th February
Nicole will be running a “LOVE” themed musical theatre workshop, at Danceworks Studio, on Monday 12th February 10am-1pm for children reception age and over. You will have the opportunity to learn songs and some dance movements – all with the theme of love… Valentine themed clothing encouraged!

The Awesome Studio Holiday Club: 12th + 14th February
Super Pirates are running a half-day holiday club for kids aged 8-13. You can expect comic book-making, board games, arts and crafts, construction activities, Nerf battles and more. They have joined forces with Lungi Babas to keep your kids well fed. For lunch, children will create their own dish with chef Mahesh. You only need to send them in with a snack.
The holiday club will take place at The Awesome Studio, Station Approach, BA11 1RE, from 10am-2pm. All staff are qualified and carefully recruited for maximum safety and fun! Spaces are £25 a day. They are also registered with the HAF programme – if your child is entitled to free school meals then they can come to this club for free. Your child’s free space can be booked through the link.
I.G. Sports Coaching: 12th – 16th February
From fundays to football camps, arts and crafts to cheerleading, there is lots of fun to be had with I.G. sports. They are offering something every day, so check out their schedule for more information. Some camps run from as early as 8am until as late as 5pm – you can choose!

Liberty Gymnastics Funday: 13th – 15th February
Liberty Gymnastics are back with their ever-popular half term fundays. Including an action-packed day full of arts and crafts, gymnastics and games, choose from any of the three dates in the middle of the half term. Tickets are going fast, so be quick if you’d like to book your child in! Drop off at 8:45am and pick up at 3pm, or 4pm for £2 extra.
These fundays are open to all school aged children, as well as both members and non-members of Liberty Gymnastics. Book your child onto their funday now.
Free Tennis in Frome: 13th + 15th February
Frome Tennis are offering free tennis sessions on the Frome Tennis Club’s Community Courts from 1pm – 3pm on Tuesday 13th and Thursday 15th.
They are informal sessions so go along and have some fun – all ages are welcome.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe: 15th February
The Merlin Theatre are putting on a magical showing of this classic film – a treat for half term! Join Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy on their epic adventure, battling dark forces, uncovering ancient prophecies, and discovering the true magic of Narnia.

Little Mix & Taylor Swift Pop & Dance workshop: 15th February
Tiff will be running a “pop” and “dance” workshop, at Danceworks Studio, on Thursday 15th February 10am-1pm for children school year 3 and over. An awesome opportunity to come and learn some routines to “Little Mix” and “Taylor Swift”. Dance, perform and singalong.

Frome Potato Day and Seed Swap: 18th February
The Frome Potato Day and Seed Swap brings together gardening enthusiasts, local businesses, and community groups to celebrate the joys of gardening. With a focus on sustainability, health, education, and community engagement, the event aims to inspire individuals to cultivate their growing spaces and foster a deeper connection to the environment.
This event has become a cherished annual tradition, offering a one-stop-shop for all things gardening. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting, Potato Day provides everything needed to kickstart the growing season.
Taking place at the Cheese and Grain, 10am – 2pm. £3 entry, kids go free!
Poo-Dunnit Challenge at Palette and Pasture: 10th – 18th February
Fancy adding some hilarity to your half term? Palette and Pasture are running a ‘Poo-Dunnit’ challenge. Go along see if your child can match the animal to its excrement! Complete your activity sheet, take a photo sat on the throne wearing your crown and collect your prize.
Paint your own pottery at Made at Nest
If you’re looking for something crafty to do with the kids but in your own time, then look no further than Made at Nest. You can choose from a selection of over 100 different ceramic items to paint and enjoy a cuppa and piece of cake in the process. Open Tuesday – Sunday.
Go bouldering!
