A CAREER IN RUINS – A TALK BY JULIAN RICHARDS

 FROME SOCIETY for LOCAL STUDY is delighted to welcome Julian Richards – presenter on radio and TV, writer and archaeologist. He will explain how a disastrous time at school led to an obsession with Stonehenge, his experiences with chemical toilets and his passion for bringing the past to life. An illustrated talk with practical demonstration! Presentations include ‘Meet the Ancestors’, ‘Blood of the Vikings’, ‘Mapping the Town’. Julian’s extensive knowledge of Stonehenge has resulted in a series of books, the latest of which is ‘Stonehenge: the story so far’. Books will be on sale.
