Bach by Candlelight

In July 1723, citizens of Leipzig gathered to hear the premiere of “Jesu, meine Freude” by J S Bach.

300 years later, you can experience a half-hour performance of this moving motet in a candlelit concert sung by Christ Church Singers, directed by Alan Burgess.
