Billy Lunn (The Subways)

The Subways (UK) are one of the most exciting live bands on the current touring circuit, thrilling crowds with their explosive rock sound and wild stage performances. Firm summer festival favourites, they have graced the main stages of over 100 international festivals. Whether in front of 100 people or 250,000 the band always deliver a high octane and thoroughly entertaining set.

The Cheese & Grain are delighted to be able to welcome the band’s lead singer, songwriter and guitartist Billy Lunn to play special one off solo shows and entertain the people with acoustic versions of some of the bands biggest hits. So far the band (The Subways) have had four top 40 albums and have supported some of the biggest bands in the business including Oasis, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Kings of Leon, Kasabian and the mighty AC/DC. The band have played in front of hundreds of thousands of people at some of the biggest festivals, Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Big Day Out, Lowlands, Rock am Ring, T in The Park and many more.

For his acoustic set Billy plays hits from all three albums including Oh Yeah!, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Alright and Rock n Roll Queen and a couple of his favourite covers. He brings the same energy to his acoustic set as his full live show.
