Blue Midnight

After playing to a packed Cornerhouse last year, Blue Midnight are back by popular demand to close this year’s Festival.

A band unlike anything else you may have heard (unless you’ve heard them before), they propose to amuse, divert, distract, delight, charm, cheer, beguile, fascinate, enthral, engage, absorb, immerse and engross you with their “very addictive eccentric crossover music”.

The sound of trombone reggae lines with folk violin melodies and fluid, solid bass, highlighted by harmonica, vocals and percussion… “there is complete joy in each note of this extravagant music.”
