In this two day bookbinding workshop, you will work with “Russia Leather” which has been salvaged from the cargo hold of the 18th century shipwreck of the Metta Catherina.

Learn how to hand stitch your own personalised book using our fabulous range of papers designed to give your book a very tactile appeal. You can use; a range of 15 colours and several textures; linen embossed, corduroy embossed, handmade rag paper, rubberised, wool mix, Japanese block printed and hand marbled paper.
We will use professional “Book Repair Calf” for the spine of the book as it lends itself well to decorative tooling and we have a good range of antique Victorian decorative tools to give your book a professional finish.
