Three cardboard boxes, two actors, one story. Go!
After a summer of touring the South West and beyond, Kerchief Theatre is finally bringing new show Boxes home to Frome.
Boxes is a dynamic piece of theatre about the need for, and value of, hope. Loveable box-dwelling friends Ena and Dyo find themselves swept up in a storytelling mission beyond their control: they dance, they bicker, they sing, they feel things, they do Tiktoks…
Inspired by the Greek myth of Pandora’s Box, Kerchief Theatre’s new show for 2021 will appeal to adults and children alike, as it asks its audiences to consider their own responses to life’s challenges, and whether hope has given them a helping hand along the way.
You’ll find us at the town end of Rodden Meadow – just at the end of Willow Vale if you’re coming from town. There is parking in the town centre or at the Cheese and Grain.
Please bring a blanket/chair/cushion to sit on if you would like. The performance will go ahead as planned in light rain, but if there is a more serious downpour we will have to cancel. Ticketholders will be notified by email in the event of a cancellation.
The show runs at approximately 40 minutes.
A note on ticket prices: we aren’t going to be asking you which ticket you went for and why! If you need/want a free ticket – please book that. Also feel free to mix and match for bookings of multiple adults and/or children.
