Casting the World: The Story of J.W. Singer & Sons, Frome, celebrates and explores the life of John Webb Singer and the iconic sculptures, statues and civic works cast at J.W. Singer & Sons foundry, through large scale photographic reproductions from the Singer’s archive of original glass plate negatives, rescued from the foundry in the 1970s and now held at Frome Museum. Exhibition 29th June – 28th July. Mon-Sun 10am-4pm (closed Sat 13th & 20th July).
