Celebrated Women of Frome – Betty Trask

Betty Trask was a prolific writer, with a reputation for being an eccentric, local recluse. Her generous bequest established the Society of Authors’ annual Betty Trask Award to fund prizes for first novels written by authors under the age of thirty-five.
