Betty Trask was a prolific writer, with a reputation for being an eccentric, local recluse. Her generous bequest established the Society of Authors’ annual Betty Trask Award to fund prizes for first novels written by authors under the age of thirty-five.
To learn about and celebrate her life and work, Frome Writers’ Collective and Frome Library are holding a live panel event with Betty Trask award authors, Frances Liardet and Samantha Harvey, chaired by Frome Museum’s David Lassmin. Plus videos & displays.
