CHARLES WIFFEN – PIANO

Pianist Charles Wiffen returns for a recital of luscious piano melodies from the eighteenth, nineteenth and twenty-first centuries. Alongside works by Mozart and Muhly, the programme will feature two masterpieces by Franz Liszt – his transcription of Schubert’s dramatic song ‘Gretchen am Spinnrade’, and his epic Sonata in B minor.
