COOPER HALL PIANO TRIO CHAMBER CONCERT

Curated by Cooper Hall Director and Aurora Orchestra Principal cellist Torun Stavseng. Torun is joined by leading Swedish pianist Anna Christensson and violinist, Rakhvinder Joanne Singh, Music Director of Manchester Collective. A rich and varied programme to include what is considered by many to be the greatest of all works for this combination of instruments, Beethoven’s crowning masterpiece, Piano Trio Op. 97 The Archduke. The ensemble will also present Dvorák’s folk music inspired Piano Trio Op.90 Dumky, and contemporary composer, Gregor Riddell’s, Clean-cut, Doe-Eyed for cello and piano.
