Help your child foster a love for reading and storytelling with these family workshops.
Engage in creative story telling – come along and listen to a well-known children’s story, told in an interactive way. Then you and your child will have the opportunity to create your own characters and props from the story using creative materials provided.
There will be a break and hot and cold drinks will be provided.
The session will end with a time for those that want to, to collectively tell the story together using our creations.
Everything made can be taken away to encourage engagement with books and independence in story telling at home.
Playing and interacting with your children helps the development of positive connection, communication skills, building self-esteem, confidence and fun.
Suitable for children age 3+ – parent/carers plus children (max 2 children per adult).
