Creativity and Storytelling – The Colour Monster

One day, Colour Monster wakes up feeling very confused. His emotions are all over the place. He feels angry, happy, calm, sad and scared all at once! To help him, a little girl shows him what each feeling means through colour.

In this family workshop you are invited to join Colour Monster on his journey, as he is guided through his emotions one by one. You and your child will have the opportunity to create your own Colour Monster from the story using creative materials provided.

Help your child foster a love for reading and storytelling as well as finding an easy way to explore emotions.

There will be a break and hot and cold drinks will be provided.

Everything made can be taken away to encourage engagement with books and independent storytelling at home.

Playing and interacting with our children helps the development of positive connection, communication skills, building self-esteem, confidence and fun.
