David Moss – Art Exhibition

Mobility issues over the past four years left David Moss with time for contemplation and rumination.

Drawing on his years completing a Fine Art degree at Newcastle, he reinvented a space in his house as a studio.

The resulting works reflect the imaginings of the world outside his imposed confinement.

Some more literal than others, the paintings echo the seesaw nature of optimism and pessimism.

At times the two battle for supremacy on the same canvas.

A compelling narrative is established with the dramatic use of colour, shape and form.

After several highly prized commissions, he has finally been persuaded to put his work on public view.
