Black Hound Productions present an Edinburgh Fringe Double Bill
Two pieces of new writing ready for the Edinburgh Fringe.
Alright? makes its eagerly awaited return to the Merlin stage. This lighthearted and honest piece follows the life of teenager Noah (Dillon Berry) as he grapples with his own mental health. Like a lot of 15-year-olds, Noah finds life difficult. Very difficult. And he doesn’t know how to cope. This is a story about coping, about getting by. As Noah’s dad says, “You’ve gotta laugh!”, but what if it’s not funny… How do you cope when you’re clearly not Alright?
Originally directed by Benjamin Hardy-Phillips, this production has been adapted by Cordelia Tarbrooke.
Alongside Alright? is the debut of Seeds of Memories. Recently it has felt like grief is all around us. This piece, from the “affecting and lyrical voice” of Patrick Withey and packed to the brim with puppetry and poetry, is a wistful and uplifting exploration of the magic of memories and the feeling of loss. Share and explore the beautiful memories we all grow throughout our lives.
