Edventure Soup

Dear Friends and Supporters of Frome,

You are invited to join us for Edventure Soup – an evening put on by Edventure students involving soup, bread, discussion and who knows what else.

This team, Edventure’s 12th team of Start-Up students, will spend 10 weeks setting up and students will work on a challenge to set up an initiative, inspired by the Frome Mens Shed. Our new initiative aims to bring young adults together to connect to others whilst making products, crafts and art in the Remakery workshop. Our aim is to gather a community in the team.

Please come along if you:

• Want to support students create positive livelihoods and help them to develop a community enterprise (A Shed equivalent for young people) for the benefit of Frome and beyond
• Have an interest in making things, teaching others to make things and in young people’s mental health
• Want to keep following and finding out about what Edventure is working on

This soup event marks the start of the students’ journey. The group will introduce themselves, present the project they will be working on and ask how people might like to get involved.
