Festival Choral Evensong

As we approach the end of another wonderful Festival you are invited to join us in St John’s Church for the traditional service of Choral Evensong. Surrounded by glorious floral displays which illustrate “Making, Shaping and Creating Frome” the combined choirs of St John’s and St Katharine’s churches will sing music composed and arranged by local musicians, including the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis to the setting by Robert Stannard, organist at St John’s 1940 – 1960 and father of Bob Stannard, former president of FMTC.
