An event every week that begins at 5:00pm on Wednesday, repeating until 28th Apr 2021
We are running a free weekly online disco with aerobics for children & young people with SEN & their parents/carers to enjoy together.
Mojo Moves is our unique brand of fitness which combines comedy with proper dance aerobics with this particular session running with a more relaxed disco feel.
Life can throw us stressful, frightening & difficult situations and now more than ever during the uncertainty of the pandemic, we need to maintain good mental health, strength and resilience to enable us to cope.
We are here to help.
We love to boogie and it’s infectious.
We also use powerful positive affirmations and deep breathing to end every session and bring about a feeling of calm and wellbeing.
Run by larger than life character Cheryl, Mojo Moves succeeds where other sports activities fail in that children don’t know they are exercising and before you know it everyone is fitter and happier.
It is an empowering class combining balance, flexibility, conditioning and cardio in easy to follow dance aerobics routines. Throw in some TV theme tunes for nostalgia, yogic breathing for balance and sing-along lyrics for memory and confidence and you have “simply the best” group exercise class ever.
As we have to report back at the end of the project (made possible by the National Lottery Community Fund and government support), interested parties’ parents/carers will be contacted via an initial zoom meeting, asked to complete a short health questionnaire and will be given a password to access the bookings page on our website. We have an online safeguarding policy in place and will be vetting all participants to ensure they are who they say they are to avoid the possibility of “catfishing”.
