Frome Consort: Baroque Concertos – Bach, Vivaldi & Telemann

Frome Consort formed in 2016 to play the music of JS Bach and his contemporaries. With their lively performing style they are fast establishing themselves as the South West’s foremost new Baroque ensemble.

This concert will include J S Bach: Brandenburg Concerto no. 4 in G and Concerto for 2 Violins in D minor, Vivaldi: Concerto for Oboe & Violin in Bb (soloists James Watts and Jamie Hughes) and Flute Concerto in G minor La Notte (soloist Leslie Sheills), together with Telemann’s Viola Concerto and a rarely heard Triple Concerto for Recorder, Oboe & Violin.
