In the 1970s and 1980s, South African musicians exiled to London by apartheid brought with them a new and vibrant form of jazz, a hectic mix of infectious tunes and rolling cross-rhythms. FJC favourite Sam Crockatt (sax) joins the Keith Harrison-Broninski Trio (featuring Pete Maxfield on bass and Roberto Nappi on drums) to celebrate the township sound. Entry free, doors 7pm, and as always, early arrival advised.
