Frome Pop Up Scrapstore

The Pod is excited to bring to Frome its first scrapstore event.

This is an exciting opportunity to buy some wonderful scrap and art supplies, a small spend on the day can offer hours of creative or play potential.

The event is a collaboration between the Pod Charity and the Bristol Children’s Scrapstore as part of a series of pop up scrapstore’s. We hope to gather your views and assess the demand for a longer term project for Frome.

Bristol will be bringing a huge selection of scrap donated by businesses and industry, instead of ending up in landfill they get a second lease of life through our customers who could make costumes, dens, loose parts for play, decorations, resources for arts and craft activities, materials for sculpture, collage or display – these are just a few of the ideas but you may have your own!

Also attending will be Frome Toy Library for our younger visitors and a Make area will be available for older children.

There will be a £1 charge to access the scrapstore (children under 12 free)

Light refreshments will be available to purchase from our pop up café run by Pod members.
