Does group problem-solving sometimes feel more like a battle than a dance? How often do ideas generated by consensus feel like compromises to everyone involved? Do you leave meetings inspired to take action, or a little bit flat?
Creating actionable ideas that satisfy the needs of a diverse group and leave participants feeling inspired to bring them to life takes structure and skill.
Using techniques from the worlds of improvisation, embodied leadership and board game design, the Fruitful Groups workshop cuts a new angle on working with others to bring out the best in everyone and generate ideas people are itching to action.
We’ll experiment with creative collaboration strategies, tools for collective idea generation and ways to use critical voices to make your ideas robust, resilient and ready to roll.
You’ll be part of a fabulous group of people and perspectives, so bring a couple of topics to play with – you might just leave the workshop with some ideas that change your world!
This is an Open Source event, which means you’re invited take the material and use it, teach it or adapt it as you please.
