Wild Mendip
Restoring Habitats in East Mendip
Events supported by the Torr Environmental Enhancement Fund
Saturday 21/10/17 (time TBC)
Laid hedges create wildlife corridors and safe havens for nesting birds and small animals, as the density of the laid hedge and the re-growth provides a safe habitat for them. Learn how to manage your hedgerows and sharpen tools at a beautiful nature reserve. Attendees will gain enough practice in this technique to get started on their own hedges. Led by Bryan Eley, local hedgelayer.
