Heritage Open Day at Frome Museum

On 7 September the museum will once again be participating in the annual UK-wide Heritage Open Days event.

The museum will be hosting a talk by Mike Bishop, who retired last year after 17 years as Frome’s town crier. Mike will tell us about the history of the town crier tradition and about his own life as a crier.

They will also be running two of their ever-popular Behind the Scenes tours of the museum.

All the events will be free of charge and open to all, but numbers will be limited and tickets will be required to attend.
