Hip Yak Frome Fest Poetry Slam

The hugely entertaining, hand-made, poetry, comedy cabaret the Hip Yak Poetry Shack is back for the first time since COVID, with the Frome Fest Poetry Slam. A quick-fire knock-out incredibly cuddly poetry competition, open to 12 slammers.

Prepare for a fun, friendly and exhilarating night of poetry for audience and poets, hosted by the phenomenal poetic talents of the Hip Yak trio, Chris Redmond, Jonny Fluffypunk and Liv Torc.

Poets will be competing in two rounds for a slot on the Hip Yak Poetry Stage at WOMAD 2022, along with a backstage festival ticket.
