Hoop Dance is a fantastic form of movement for body and mind, toning muscle, boosting confidence and improving coordination. It can burn up to 100 calories in 10 minutes (similar to running but considerably more fun!) This 5 week course will teach you the basics of hoop dance – a fun fusion of old school hooping from the 50’s with circus skills served up with lashings of great tunes.
Taught by Emilie Joy Rowell, a professional yoga and hoop dancer teacher and performer. Over the past 10 years she’s taught over 1,000 people and was in the top 10 of the international contest, Hooping Idol in 2014.
Suitable for complete beginners – hoops are provided for classes.
