How to run a small event or workshop – an Edventure Learning session

Edventure’s Future Shed learning session aimed at people wanting to run a workshop or small event. This training is focused on activities for ages 16+ (it won’t go into the additional provision needed for working with children).

What you will learn:
how to begin planning and structuring
how to organise your content, and what to focus on
timings and scheduling
communciations, publicity and marketing including ticketing
participants and audiences
thinking through inclusivity
what you need to know about insurance and risk assessments
policies that you need in place, including safeguarding
including climate, wellbeing and the environment in your thinking and your work
managing problems
documentation, evaluation and follow-up

Who is this for:
anyone in Frome and surrounding communities who is connected to Green & Healthy Frome.
ages 18+
This training session will aim to give you a good ‘how to’ grounding.
