Volunteer Frome is a volunteer database designed to make it easier for organisations to recruit volunteers and for volunteers to have access to all the volunteering opportunities in the town.
SPARK, a leading voluntary sector support organisation in Somerset, will be providing expertise in managing an online volunteering database along with dedicated staff based every Tuesday from 10am – 2pm at the new Townhall to provide that essential face-to-face service.
Community groups, sports clubs and other organisations across Frome are all invited to attend an information session on Volunteer Frome: What’s in it for you, how to sign up to the database and what the project can offer in terms of increasing the number of people able to volunteer and support your projects.
Please come to The Assembly Rooms on 14th March at either 2pm or 5.00 pm to find out more and sign your community group up. Refreshments will be provided.
